Fun & Collaboration

At SAWOO, we embrace a remote-first work culture, allowing our team to work from anywhere. However, we believe in the power of in-person connections, which is why we come together for at least 1-2 weeks each year. These gatherings are invaluable for fostering stronger relationships, sparking fresh ideas, and aligning on our goals in a more dynamic, collaborative setting.

frequently asked questions

  • The goal of our application process is to find out whether you are a perfect fit for us and the position, and vice versa. If you are unhappy with your new position, no one has gained anything. For this reason, we take the necessary time to ensure that we will have a good time together.

    The interview process is divided into 3 steps:

    1. Short online test depending on the position.

    2. First interview (30 minutes): A quick way to get to know each other.

    2. Second interview (1-1.5h): Interview with your potential new supervisor.

    3. Reference checks from our side

  • After the onboarding period, you will work on your tasks independently and can arrange your own time within a certain framework. Of course, you will receive help from your team at any time.

    There are also regular weekly exchanges with supervisors and colleagues.

    Furthermore, we have daily standup meetings and organize one to two annual company meeting in attendance.

  • Show us what you are made of, and we will promote your potential with new tasks and more responsibility. If you find a training that helps you get better, we will support you.

  • We communicate with each other via chat (Slack) and regular video calls with clients and colleagues. Despite the physical distance, we provide each other with help and answers within a very short time.

    Most of us speak German. But we also have some English speaking team members and many English-speaking clients. So approximately 50% of meetings are held in English, 50% in German.

  • Nobody is perfect and keen on committing to mistakes made. In case of a mistake, we work together on a solution to avoid future errors and optimize processes.

    Of course, we are always grateful for your feedback and suggestions for improvement, which we will try to implement.
